Ut - ultrasonic testing
Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a non-destructive testing method used to determine the thickness of steel and other materials on fabricated equipment, such as boilers. Testing can be performed while equipment is in service.
Dye penetrant examination (pt)
Low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials. PT is used to detect casting, forging and welding surface defects such as hairline cracks, surface porosity, leaks in new products, and fatigue cracks on in-service components.
borescope tube inspection
Effective inspection tool used to evaluate scale and debris deposits on waterside surfaces in boilers and other equipment.
