Find out exactly where your steam system stands.
The CRES Score is a single, defensible rating of your steam system across the four things that actually matter — Compliance, Reliability, Energy efficiency, and Safety. In one lean, senior-led visit we inspect the system, grade each dimension, and hand you the number, the evidence behind it, and the ranked fixes to raise it.
Four dimensions. One number you can act on.
Compliance
Jurisdictional, code and CSD-1 gaps found and documented — the records that back your compliance and boiler-safety files.
Reliability
Single-point-failure and choke-point analysis across the steam system, so you find the risk before it takes out a critical process.
Energy Efficiency
Measured combustion efficiency at the burner plus a defensible, measured steam-performance baseline — a real number, not an estimate.
Safety
Safety-valve and low-water-cutoff testing, combustion-safeguard verification, and the documented EHS findings your risk and insurance records need.
Condition is the evidence
Trap state, insulation, corrosion and equipment integrity — the physical condition we inspect to produce every grade above.
One CRES Score
Compliance, Reliability, Energy and Safety, rolled into a single comparable score per plant — so you know exactly where to start.
Tools your team can use — not a report that sits on a shelf
Your CRES Score & scorecard
Compliance, Reliability, Energy and Safety graded on the same basis at every plant and rolled to one CRES Score — so you can rank facilities and know exactly where to start.
Code-grounded written report
Prioritized findings across all four dimensions, each recommendation ranked by payback and carbon, so the sequence of work is decided for you.
Digital boiler-room walkthrough
A navigable 360° + thermal record of the room, with findings pinned to their physical location. Revisit any plant any time, from anywhere — no return trip.
Measured steam-performance baseline
Energy in, minus measured losses, to a defensible efficiency number — the anchor for capital decisions and for reporting verified progress.
Annual re-score
A lighter follow-up visit that re-runs your CRES Score, verifies completed projects and quantifies the savings — keeping your baseline and reporting current year over year.
Compressed-air leak survey
While our ultrasonic gear is on-site, we survey compressed-air leaks in the same visit — a fast, high-ROI cut to one of the plant’s most expensive loads.
In and out without disrupting the plant
Pre-visit data
A short, identical request per site. Send a one-line steam diagram and we model your system before we arrive.
On-site, ~2 days
A small senior team inspects, measures and walks down the whole system while you keep running.
Your CRES Score in ~1 week
Score, scorecard, digital walkthrough and ranked fixes delivered fast — no months lost to research.
Act & re-score
You execute the ranked roadmap; we return annually to re-score and quantify the savings.
One comparable CRES Score, so you know where to start
Boiler Room
Combustion, equipment condition, compliance, safety, water & electrical use, and reliability — graded across all four CRES dimensions.
Steam Distribution
Traps, insulation, condensate return, flash recovery, venting, piping and supports — graded on the same basis.
Your CRES Score
Both areas roll into one comparable score per facility — rank a whole system and know exactly where to invest first.
Every stakeholder gets what they need

Package 1 — Complete Boiler Room Assessment
Everything inside the boiler house: combustion efficiency at each boiler, equipment condition and inventory, jurisdictional compliance, safety, reliability, and a measured boiler-room performance number — captured in the digital walkthrough and your CRES Score.
Package 2 — Steam System Assessment
Follows the steam once it leaves the boiler house, where much of the loss hides: trap survey, insulation audit, condensate and multi-pressure review, flash-steam recovery and venting. Add it to Package 1, or purchase on its own.

One failed-trap population, one excess-air correction, or a single avoided day of downtime saves more than the score costs — and the deliverables become the case you take to your own leadership.
