Our mission is to deliver high-quality and sustainable commercial-industrial solutions that protect customers’ assets and help to achieve their steam energy goals. We are focused on building solid, long-lasting relationships with our customers.
how it began
Trap Energy Solutions was founded by Garrett Trapnell. Trap began his career in the US Navy, where he studied nuclear power plant operations and later served proudly in the submarine service.
After Trap completed his service in the USN, he graduated from the University of Minnesota, acquired his Chief A boiler operator license and later earned a National Board commission as a boiler & pressure vessel inspector, where he worked for nearly 20 years. In this capacity, Trap visited many commercial and industrial clients throughout the upper Midwest; performing steam plant inspections, conducting boiler room risk assessments, and providing steam system training. Recognizing energy deficiencies in steam systems and adverse boiler room risk exposures, Trap decided that it was time to start helping people protect their bottom lines by finding energy saving solutions and mitigating exposures with good risk control measures.
Trap works with a group of dedicated associates who perform excellent in the field and effectively manage the business back in the office. We are determined to provide our best service for our customers. We are passionate about finding reliable and innovative steam system energy savings for our customers. We are driven to help our partners meet their energy goals.
